Josie Geddes Counselling

I’ve known Josie for many years and she recently set up a private practice as a counsellor in central and west London. Josie came to me in need of a website that highlighted the services she offered and informed potential clients of the types of counselling she specialises in.

In putting together a website for a counsellor I was aware that first impressions can have a big impact and clients tend to choose a counsellor on an initial “feel” they get from someone. A website is an ideal way to make a good first impression to potential clients and great time and care was taken to ensure the look and feel of the website accurately conveyed the messages Josie wanted to be present.

Armed with a freshly designed logo I worked with Josie on all aspects of the site. It has been built in WordPress using a premium Studiopress template. The site has so far been built using preferred SEO plugins to ensure that when the time is right for Josie to do any digital marketing, the website is perfectly positioned to make this possible. It was a pleasure working with Josie and I am certain her practice will be a great success.

Beauty by Nat

Natalie is a mobile beauty therapist and set up her business “Beauty by Nat” in 2013 from her base in Sunbury on Thames.

Natalie wanted a responsive website that showcased the treatments she specialises in including Shellac, Sienna X spray tanning and eyelash extensions. As the business grows, Natalie’s website is designed to grow with her and has been built using the WordPress platform using one of my favourite Studiopress templates.

As a website specialising in female beauty treatments the site is suitably pink in colour! As a great deal of business is local and has grown from word of mouth recommendations, there is also links to Natalie’s Facebook and Twitter accounts on the home page.

50 Shades of Mum

50 Shades of Mum is one of my personal projects that I set up and created as a Mummy blog to chart life as a Mummy to a 3 year old little boy.

The blog has now progressed into a pregnancy blog! As well as charting the highs and lows of a work-from-home Mum, I’m also writing about pregnancy updates and the differences between giving birth in Spain and the UK.

Weekly Clean

Cleaning Services north London

I began working with Katherine in January 2013 to build a website for her exciting new venture, a modern cleaning service aimed at busy professionals located in areas around north London.

Katherine was very clear about the type of website she wanted and the message and feel she wanted it to convey to prospective customers. The brief was to create a fresh exciting website to serve as an online shop front for prospective customers. As a new venture the website was designed to be scalable to grow with the business and we chose to build the website in WordPress allowing Katherine to update information about the business as she needed to.

The website includes an easy to use contact form allowing Katherine to receive contact requests from prospective clients and there is also a blog function built in that can be used as and when Katherine decides to make use of an updated news/blog section. WordPress training to be able to update and manage the website was provided. WordPress also allows for the website to be built from the bottom up in a very search engine friendly way and which makes future SEO on the website a lot easier.

The website build was done across about 3 weeks which gave us lots of time to coordinate the best ways to showcase the relevant information on the website, tweak areas once the final draft was done and also work with the graphic elements.

I wish Katherine all the best in her venture and am sure that with a strong business sense and clear view of where she wants to take the business it will not be long before Weekly Clean are the cleaning services of choice in the North London area.

Visit the website at: www.weeklyclean.co.uk.

Krishanthi Williams is a photographer providing amazing contemporary wedding photography services to lucky couples getting married within the London area.

Having built up a good level of business through recommendations and word of mouth Krishanthi came to me as a referral from another of my SEO clients looking to expand her online presence and to build up more web generated business.

Krish chose a website style and format that would showcase her images the most and as she works in an industry in which a photo can tell a thousand words, Krish was specific about what she wanted and where. As a result of her pro-activity Krish was amazing to work with and is now an eager blogger who took a great deal from her WordPress training an I am now very much looking forward to working with her as we begin stage 2 – the SEO of her website!

The Kalisher Trust

The Kalisher Trust is a registered charity that provides financial help to those looking to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). As a year long course the costs of this can be up to around £14,000. The Trust exists to help those less fortunate to begin a career at the Criminal Bar.

Having been set up in 1996, The Kalisher Trust runs on donations which are generated through a number of means including theatre events, lecture evenings etc. I was asked to build a website that served to expand on the information available online about the trust.

This was a straight-forward SEO website build. More can be seen at the site: www.thekalishertrust.org.

My Baby Spain

My Baby Spain is one of my own websites set up when I found out I was pregnant with my little boy. As there was a good chance that he might be born in Spain, I set the website as a way of researching and finding out the answers to all the questions I had about having a baby in Spain.

My Baby Spain is now a sizeable website that ranks top for a range of baby Spain related keywords. It also has a healthy Facebook community and Twitter following.
